Apparel branding
The AES logo looks great on apparel, but it must always adhere to the same brand guidelines as our printed materials.
- Primary Style: Our standard preference is to use the full-color primary logo whenever possible.
- Fabric Constraints: The full-color primary logo is reserved exclusively for white or light gray apparel.
The AES black and white tertiary logo is designated for dark fabrics and specialized gear. Use this logo version for:
- Dark Neutrals: Black, navy blue, or dark gray apparel.
- Specialized & Safety Gear: All field uniforms and safety-approved apparel that require non-standard background colors.
Do not attempt to match fabric colors to our official AES signature colors. Instead, always choose standard apparel colors (such as white, light gray, dark gray, navy, or black) that provide a clean, high-contrast background for our approved logos.
PPE branding
Consistent with our apparel standards, all PPE must follow AES logo guidelines. Use the full-color primary logo strictly on white or light gray gear. For hard hats, the approved corporate standard is a white background with the full-color logo.
On PPE backgrounds other than white or light gray, apply the white or black AES tertiary logo. Always prioritize high contrast for visibility. For instance, high-visibility vests should feature the black tertiary logo to ensure optimal legibility on the field.
To protect the integrity of the AES logo on gear and apparel, always follow these placement rules:
Isolate the Logo: Keep helmet stickers, pins, patches, and other graphics completely separate from the AES logo.
Maintain Clear Space: Always observe the mandatory clear space zone around the logo—defined as 2/3 the height of the logo—to keep it free of visual clutter.
Proportions: Never stretch, distort, or alter the sizing and aspect ratio of the AES logo.
Site signage
All AES locations must adhere to our approved signage layouts to maintain a consistent global footprint.
- Standard Signs: An online template is available for standard 24" x 36" signage.
- Custom Sizes: For any other signage dimensions, please submit a design request. The Creative Services team will assist you in creating the properly formatted artwork.
